What is TPE?
TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) is an eco-friendly, non-toxic material that’s free from harmful chemicals like BPA, phthalates, and PVC.
Unlike traditional PVC, which can contain toxic additives, TPE is safe for both you and the environment, offering a durable, flexible, and sustainable alternative for wellness products.

TPE outperforms PVC in safety, sustainability, and comfort. It’s non-toxic, biodegradable, and doesn’t release harmful chemicals.
Unlike PVC, which can be rigid and contain harmful plasticizers, TPE is soft, flexible, and long-lasting—making it the ideal choice for eco-conscious wellness enthusiasts who prioritize both personal health and the planet.
How Much Ice Do I Need?
The recommend temperature is below 15°C, which can be easy or hard to achieve depending on the time of year.
We recommend adding 2-3 bags of ice before your ice bath.

How Do I Keep The Water Clean?
You can use bromine, a natural substitute to chlorine, which is what we recommend.
The 2-1 thermometer and cleaner that currently comes with our ice bath holds a bromine tablet within it which will keep your water clean for up to 4 weeks at a time.
Bromine can be purchased on amazon.
Can I Use Epsom Salts?
Yes, its fine to add Epsom Salt to your ice bath, there are some really good reasons why you would want to!
Espom salts are safe to use, and may have health benefits by supplementing your magnesium levels, but chloride salts (e.g., table salt, road salt) are not safe to use.
How Long Should I Use It For?
To gain the benefits of using cold therapy, you need the water to be below 59° Fahrenheight (15°C) for 3-5 minutes. This differs for each individual but around these stats are what we have found to be most effective.
How Do I Clean It?
Ice baths are quick and easy to clean. You can pour away the water and wipe down with a cloth before refilling with clean water. We suggest swapping out the water once a fortnight, but this depends on whether you’re showering before using the tub and how often you’re using your ice bath.
How Often Should I Ice Bath?
For optimal results, you can use the ice bath 2-3 times per week, depending on your recovery needs and fitness goals. Beginners may start with shorter sessions (1-2 minutes) and gradually increase time and frequency as their body adapts.
Always listen to your body—if you feel refreshed and recovered, that’s a good sign you’re using it just right.
How Do I Drain It?
Our ice bath comes with a tap and an extendable drainage hose at the bottom for draining. To drain it, connect a standard garden hose or simply open the tap depending on where the pod is set up.
Does It Come With a Lid?
Yes, our ice bath comes with a thermo insulated lid to keep your water cold and keep debris out.
What Temperature To Start?
We recommend starting out with your ice bath tub temperature at around 15°C if it’s your first time, and then slowly lowering the temperature and duration for each session. That way your body will get acclimated to the cold.
For the seasoned ice bathers, get the water below 10°C to really feel the kick, and stay in for at least 2 minutes for optimal benefits.
